On 25th March, on World Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day, Kenindia Assurance Company
Limited partnered with Noweza Foundation to host a powerful and deeply moving CSR
initiative that blended compassion, awareness, and community action under one message: no
child should ever be left behind.
The event carried a strong and emotional call to action, reminding families and society that
children with cerebral palsy belong to both parents, and that love, care, and responsibility
should never be one-sided. It shed light on a difficult reality: some fathers withdraw from
their families upon learning of a child’s condition, leaving mothers to shoulder the emotional,
physical, and financial burden alone. The initiative boldly challenged this narrative,
encouraging fathers to step forward, stay present, and embrace their children with love and
dignity.
Beyond awareness, the event was a celebration of unity and practical support. Through a
diaper drive, Kenindia donated essential supplies that were distributed to mothers caring for
children with cerebral palsy, many of whom face daily challenges accessing basic necessities.
The relief and gratitude on their faces spoke volumes, turning the day into one of hope,
dignity, and renewed strength.
The campaign also extended a powerful message to the wider community: caring for children
with cerebral palsy is not an individual burden, it is a shared responsibility. Communities
were encouraged to stand together, support families, and create an environment where every
child is embraced, understood, and given the opportunity to thrive.
Through this partnership, Kenindia Assurance and Noweza Foundation didn’t just raise
awareness, they sparked conversations, restored hope, and reminded everyone that with
empathy and collective effort, we can build a more inclusive and compassionate society.
Because every child matters. And every parent matters too.
